Richmond GP Alliance

The RGPA role is to improve care for our patients and to ensure Primary Care is sustainable for our members and their staff. We have joined together to develop innovative ways of improving patient access to medical care across the Borough. We aim to provide patients with safer, faster, and better healthcare. To achieve our ambitions we applied for funding from the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund, which the Prime Minister had established in 2013 to drive innovation and improve access to Primary Care at a national level. Against strong competition from across the country, we have been allocated funds which we have used to improve patient access and experience, and to develop integrated Information Technology across the Borough. We have also provided extended access, 12 hours a day, seven days a week, from four Hubs across the Borough.
