Richmond Mind

Richmond Mind is an independent local mental health charity that has been supporting people in the London Borough of Richmond for over 60 years. As part of the wider Mind network, it provides high-quality, recovery-focused mental health services for people experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, from mild anxiety and depression to severe and enduring mental illness. The charity offers a wide range of community-based services, including:
- One-to-one mental health support and talking therapies.
- Peer support groups and wellbeing activities.
- Crisis and outreach services.
- Support for young people aged 12–25.
- Dedicated support for unpaid carers through the Carers in Mind programme, including advice, peer groups, workshops and respite activities.
- Befriending services to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
- Mental Health First Aid and wellbeing training for individuals and organisations.
Richmond Borough Mind’s vision is for people experiencing mental health issues, and those who care for them, to enjoy a good quality of life within their local community. Its mission is to promote good mental health, reduce stigma, empower people in their recovery, and ensure individuals receive the right support at the right time to live independently and realise their potential.
