Bowel Cancer Screening Awareness

Offered to everyone aged 50 to 74, Bowel Cancer Screening is a test you do at home that checks for signs of bowel cancer.

Between April – July 2025, The uptake for our eligible patients at Cross Deep Surgery is 65.36% – The national average uptake is 62%.

We continue to encourage all patients who are eligible to take part.

It can help find cancer early, and before you have any symptoms, which may mean it’s easier to treat.
