Farewell to Dr Hurle
After 17 years of dedicated service, Dr Hurle will be leaving Cross Deep Surgery – Her last day is Friday 26th September 2025.
Throughout her time she has been a highly valued partner, a trusted doctor, and a much-loved colleague. She has cared for generations of patients with great dedication, and her warmth and professionalism will be deeply missed by both patients and the whole practice team.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Hurle has been a GP trainer, and has greatly enjoyed helping doctors in training grow in knowledge and confidence as they developed into independent practitioners. Teaching and supporting the next generation of GPs has been one of the highlights of her career at the practice.
Dr Hurle says that one of the things she will miss most are the wonderful patients here in Twickenham. It has been a privilege for her to be part of their lives and to share in their care over the years. She would like to sincerely thank all her patients for their kindness, trust, and support during her time at the practice.
She is now moving to Japan, where she will be working with a medical organisation called Tokushukai, helping them in the development of primary care in Japan (where it is still relatively unknown) . While we are very sad to say goodbye, we are delighted that her experience and skills will be helping to improve healthcare internationally.
Looking to the future, we are currently in the process of recruiting a new GP partner as to ensure continuity of care, which will be announced in due course. Dr Ferguson will be replacing her as board member on the PCN. We are also delighted to welcome Dr Mariya Sarbicki, who will be joining the team from November.
